That answers part of the question, at least concerning sheet-specific layers (elevation notes, etc), but can you actually break a 3D model down into separate layers? Isn't it just one great big gob of data? I understand that this is more of a DD issue (where multi-member teams aren't as big of an issue) than a CD issue, but I'm still concerned. Not that it can't work, mind you, but that I just don't fully understand how it works.
