Mike, occassionally when items are sitting behind other objects, it is hard to select them by shift-clicking unless you go to another view. Also I notice that certain objects just CANNOT be selected unless you zoom in or out (usu out) despite where you click on them. Once you zoom they can be selected. Tjis applies regardless of plan perspective or whatever mode altho it seems to occur most in plan.
