OK.
LETS GET TO WORK
JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS
. IF YOU HAVE 3D SOLIDS MODELS IN AUTOCAD AND THEY HAVE ROUND CORNES
YOU NEED TO SET THE "FACETRES" RESOLUTION TO 10 (THIS STAND FOR
FACET RESOLUTION) DO THIS ANYWAYS IS ALLWAYS GOOD.
. TRY TO PUT ALL THE OBJECTS THAT WILL BE OF THE SAME COLOUR IN ONE
LAYER.
. THEN EXPORT THE FILE AS 3DSTUDIO OR SAVE IT AS .DWG
. OPEN 3DMAX AND IMPORT THE FILE
. CHOOSE EDIT-MAREIAL-MAPBROWSER
. IN THE DIALOG BOX CHOOSE MTL LIBRARY AND CLICK IN THE SECON ICON IN
THE TOP WHERE IT SHOWS FEW BALLS.
. THEN SELECT YOUR MATERIAL AND CLICK AND DRAG THIS TO THE OBJECT
. THEN CLICK IN THE OBJECT AND CLICK IN EDITING ICON IN THE RIGHT
BOX SECTION
. CHOOSE UVW MAPS COORDINATES
. THEN YOU CAN CHOOSE BOX, SPHERICAL OR ANY OTHER ACCORDING TO YOUR
DRAWING AND DON'T FORGET TO HAVE THE PERSPACTIC VIEW WINDOW IN
"SMOOTH & HIGHLIGHTS" MODE, YOU DO THIS BY RIGHT CLICKING IN THE
TEXT OF THE WINDOW
. NOW YOU RENDER (DON'T FORGET TO MARK FORCE TWO SIDES OPTION)

IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION DON'T HESITATE TO SEND ME AN E-MAIL TO
THE ADDRES ABOVE

GOOD LUCK

REGARDS

HUMBERTO
