I design and build my own furniture, vanities, and cabinets. Currently I have to draw my shop usable plans on graph paper and sometimes I use a program called Delta CAD. Both processes are time consuming and tedious. I need a 2D program that will facilitate building in the shop with scaled drawings, exploded views, and details of joinery. To be able to do multiple scales on a single page would be very convenient. A 3D image of the finished piece would be a nice bonus. Cut list generation would be a plus as well.
Any guidance as to which CAD programs I should investigate would be greatly appreciated.
