3D and Educational Software

I need manuals in pdf formats, or Word document format of 3D studio Max, also, I need that someone tell wich software I must use to create an educatice aplication that incorpore 3d graphics, and videos. I Know that Asymetric Tool Book is use for this, but It not permits an 3D graphics or video in a page.
I hope that you can help me.
