This particular rendering was done at 1024 x 1024, much bigger than it is shown in Kevin's message. As I recall this rendering took about 10 hours to complete. The time the user spends working on the rendering is much shorter. It takes just a minute to set up a Radiance Online rendering and get it started.

The best way to guage how long it takes is to give it a try. Renderings up to 512 X 512 are still free, so if you haven't tried Radiance Online, give it a shot.
