Rotating text within a block

Does any one know of a lisp routine that will allow me to rotate text and attributes within a block? I have a bunch of component blocks inserted into a drawing and need to get the description text to all be oriented in the same direction. The text is set on a text layer and needs to be able to rotate about the center point of the text. Any sugestions? Thanks in advance.
