Dear Friends of Eugene,

Please mark your calendar for the Friends of Eugene Annual Meeting, 2010.  With fundamental growth planning issues in the forefront of the community eye again, on top of climate change and everything else, we're looking forward to hosting the first major public presentation in Eugene by Jason Miner, the new Executive Director of 1000 Friends of Oregon:

   Featured Speaker:
   Jason Miner - Executive Director, 1000 Friends of Oregon

   The public program will begin at 7:00pm with an introduction by Kevin.
   Light refreshments will be served at about 6:30pm.

   The brief FoE annual organizational business meeting for voting
   (dues-paying) members in good standing, which will include election
   of board members to fill open seats, will begin promptly at 6:15pm.

Please note that, for eligibility to vote for the board of directors at the annual meeting, the last day to join or renew membership is September 24, 2010.  This can be done quickly and easily online at:
