> Hello Neighbors,
> Last month the Planning Commission discussed the topic of public
> access to the Planning Commission email distribution list due to a
> recent issue where public testimony was submitted directly to the
> Planning Commission, rather than to the Planning staff lead. As a
> result, public access to the Planning Commission email distribution
> list is no longer available.
> This email is to let you know that since then, a mechanism has been
> established to maintain the opportunity for the public to provide
> input to the Planning Commission without it going directly to the
> commissioner's personal or work email accounts. We have created a
> separate email address specifically for receiving emails sent by the
> public to the Planning Commission. This new email address will allow
> emails from the public to be forwarded to the Planning Commission,
> included as public testimony, or bundled by specific project and
> delivered at one time. The Planning Commission's website has been
> updated to include a link to this new email address.
Those of you who have linked the Planning Commission email address
directly to your Neighborhood Association website should change it to:
epc at ci.eugene.or.us
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this change.
Sincerely,
