GET ON BOARD!

Ever considered becoming an LTD Board member? If you live in LTD Subdistrict 5, now is your chance to apply for the position!

Board member recruitment continues as the District seeks to fill the Subdistrict 5 seat that will be vacated by former Board president Gerry Gaydos.  If you or someone you know are interested in serving, visit the State of Oregon website for information about executive appointments by the governor. Anyone interested in serving is encouraged to complete the Executive Appointments Interest Form.

Interested candidates must live within the Subdistrict 5 boundaries. The application deadline is Friday, August 14, 2009, which will allow time for the governor to review applications and make an appointment in time for senate confirmation in September or October.

LTD Board members are appointed to serve a four-year term, and they may be reappointed for additional terms. Click here for details regarding meetings and other requirements.
