[NLC] Tuesday's NLC meeting, 6:30 @ Campbell Center

Greetings Leaders!

Here's an agenda for the evening followed by a brief description of the
activity.
I am also attaching some of the documents we've produced over the year.  We
recommend you familiarize yourself with these before the meeting to assist
discussion.  We will have copies of all this stuff and then some at the
meeting, so don't worry about printing it unless you feel so inclined.

For your reference, the docs are:
NLC Charter
3 versions of the workplan (assembled brainstorm, color spreadsheet, four
item work list...hopefully)
NUSA presentation (stick people)

NLC Annual Meeting Activity: Ideal Agenda

August 25, 2009



We have some important questions about NLC we’d like your input on.  The
purpose of this exercise is twofold:

   - Gain critical input from neighborhood leaders on the direction of NLC
   - Provide an opportunity for neighborhood leaders to sharpen leadership
   skills



You will work in small groups to create your ideal NLC Agenda.  Each small
group will designate a facilitator whose role is to keep the group work
moving in a timely and equitable fashion and to ensure that assignment
objective are met in the allotted time.  Each group will also designate a
scribe who will capture and/or otherwise document the discussion.  The
scribe and facilitator are also welcome to participate in the discussion.  Each
small group will present their agenda to the larger group in an interactive
or Q&A style, and each person in the small group must have a speaking role
in the presentation.



Results of the Ideal Agenda exercise will help us refine the current
direction for NLC, provide future agenda topics, increase working rapport
among Neighborhood Leaders, and enhance leadership skills among NLC reps.
