Recommendations From the West Eugene Collaborative

For two years, a diverse group of citizens tried to find solutions to West Eugene’s traffic snarls. They succeeded! But will the community agree with their recommendations? Hear the proposals from Collaborative members Pat Johnston, West Eugene Wetlands Project Manager for the Bureau of Land Management; and Larry Reid, head of the urban planning division of JRH Transportation Engineering and Land Use Planning.

City Club meetings are free for members and $5 for non-members. A soup-and-salad-bar lunch may be purchased; members pay $13 ($14 for credit card use) and non-members pay $14. Coffee/tea and cookies is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. The meeting will be broadcast on KLCC (89.7FM) on Monday at 6:30 p.m. and shown on cable Channel 21 on a future Thursday at 6 p.m.
