Public Meeting - Mark Your Calendars!
October 13, 2010
5:30 p.m.
Please join City Staff for the first of several public meetings to develop a trail plan for the top of Spencer Butte. Plan goals include improving public safety and protecting a rare habitat type from increasingly heavy recreational impacts.
The first meeting will take place on October 13th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Bascom-Tykeson Room of the Eugene Public Library, 100 W 10th Ave, in downtown Eugene. A short presentation will be followed by questions and answers, and opportunity to share your ideas about potential actions. A follow-up staffed public site visit will be held on the morning of Saturday, October 23rd. Additional details about the site visit will be presented at the first meeting.
Date: Wednesday, October 13th, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Location: Bascom-Tykeson Room, Eugene Public Library, 100 West 10th Ave, in downtown Eugene
Agenda: Presentation at 5:30 p.m., followed by opportunity for public input
Immediately following the Spencer Butte Summit Trail Plan meeting, the annual meeting of Friends of the Ridgeline will be held in the same location from 6:40-7:50p.m., ongoing ridgeline planning and acquisition efforts, and volunteer opportunities will be discussed.
