Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This is a quick reminder of our meeting tomorrow night to continue our neighborhood discussion of some big issues in the Envision Eugene city-wide 20-year planning process:

	Southeast Neighbors General Meeting
	Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 7:00-9:00pm
	Hilyard Community Center
	2580 Hilyard Street, Eugene
	* Neighborhood discussion on Envision Eugene continues!
	* Light refreshments are planned.

We'll be doing another round of Chadwick-style collaborative process with friends and neighbors. Come and help take our statements on Envision Eugene to the next level.

Envision Eugene is the City's process for planning our next 20 years of development and redevelopment.

At our SEN General Meeting in June, we used a collaborative, consensus-oriented process to start creating our own neighborhood vision of Eugene's future.

Find our collective statement, addressing worst and best possible outcomes, and what each of us might do, in our own exact words, online at:
http://www.southeastneighbors.org/files/SEN_General_Meeting_20100609_collective_statements-draft.pdf

This is great stuff!

Join us on November 9 and put your own words into the next round of our collective statements!

with best wishes,

Kevin Matthews

Southeast Neighbors

Working together to preserve the livability of our most
immediate surroundings, for all the people and creatures
therein, and for generations to come.

Please help save Eugene's threatened Pileated Woodpeckers
and Amazon Creek Otters! Support headwaters stewardship
and upland wildlife habitat protection.

Please help stop destructive infill development. Support
the South Hills Study to help continue carbon sequestration
in our heritage forest and woodlands.

Help us learn to create dense mixed-use redevelopment in
existing commercial areas to reduce our community's car-
driving carbon footprint, and preserve our current UGB.
