Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I hope you can accept this invitation to join us for the Friends of Eugene annual public meeting, presenting our exciting speaker from Portland:
Oregon's Future in the Balance :
Land Use Planning for Economic Recovery
Jason Miner
Executive Director, 1000 Friends of Oregon
October 14, 2010, Eugene Public Library
Presentation at 7:00pm
Reception at 6:30pm, with light refreshments
As well as leading Oregon's outstanding statewide land use watchdog group, Jason has recently participated here directly as part of the Community Resource Group aspect of our ongoing Envision Eugene process. He's in a unique position to combine both perspectives as he shares the 1000 Friends vision of how economic recovery and urban growth boundaries mesh together.
with best wishes,
Kevin Matthews

This special part of Oregon needs all our hope, help, and love
together to create real solutions to grow better, not just bigger,
while reducing our carbon footprint, and addressing West Eugene

and political and environmental equity, to support all the efforts
