Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Here are the initial Southeast Neighbors draft collective statements related to Envision Eugene, created together through the Chadwick-style consensus-building process we used at our June general meeting (attached in PDF format).
We'll also have these posted, and some in hard copy, for informal discussion at our annual neighborhood picnic this afternoon:
Sunday, September 12, 2010
4:30-7pm
Tugman Park
37th and Hilyard
(We'll be at the edge of the trees, on the grass, back from the street,
just behind the big sand playground area.)
with all best wishes,
Kevin Matthews

Southeast Neighbors
Working together to preserve the livability of our most
immediate surroundings, for all the people and creatures
therein, and for generations to come.
Please help save Eugene's threatened Pileated Woodpeckers
and Amazon Creek Otters! Support headwaters stewardship
and upland wildlife habitat protection.
Please help stop destructive infill development. Support
the South Hills Study to help continue carbon sequestration
in our heritage forest and woodlands.
Help us learn to create dense mixed-use redevelopment in
existing commercial areas to reduce our community's car-
driving carbon footprint, and preserve our current UGB.
