Subject: [WEC] Consensus Check: Letter from WEC to Eugene City Council - 20101130-01 Draft
Dear WEC Members,
I'm feeling a sense of the group that the draft letter to the Eugene City Council is ready for a consensus check as it now stands, without further elaboration. We could certainly say more, or continue to fine-tune, but perhaps what we've got in hand is the right thing to produce, in a timely way, now.
Of course if someone feels a real need for further changes, please speak up, and we'll work to accommodate those ideas.
Otherwise, please let us know if you support this "20101130-01" version, which is the same as the version "20101129-01" last circulated, except for the addition of the one short phrase suggested by Jim Welsh and supported by others.
Having heard general agreement with no unaddressed-objections so far, if this version receives a preponderance of support and no objections over the next couple of days, then I think we could call consensus.
And then I'd be happy to produce a formal copy to be held for signing at the courtesy of the Mayor's office.
And of course if there's an alteration to make to this proposed process, like the draft letter itself, please let us know!
with best wishes,
Kevin
