As a very late weigh-in, Alan point was an EXCELLENT one, and should be included.  Tim's edit seems to deal with it well.

I am perfectly willing to let my suggested edit go if there is not 
consensus behind it.

Perfect is the enemy of good, as they say, and I'd rather not be the one 
holding up the process.
