Subject: NOTICE: June 11 "smart growth" conference in Eugene

Dear members of the West Eugene Collaborative and other interested parties,

On behalf of the REALTORS®, the cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane
County, Lane Transit District, and the Oregon Transportation and Growth
Management Program, I want to invite you to the all-day "Moving Forward
Together" conference on June 11 at the Hilton Eugene & Conference Center.

We have organized a series of panels with national and state experts to
offers ways in which we can work together to expand our housing, economic
and transportation choices. Each panel will be moderated by local expert to
help connect good ideas from around the country with what makes sense in
Lane County.

Although this conference is not part of the West Eugene Collaborative
effort, the conference will include a panel on collaboration featuring WEC
facilitators Dennis Donald and John Huyler. Moreover, the conference will
bring experts from around to country to offer ideas for addressing the kinds
of challenges the WEC has been looking at. The conference should be an
opportunity to learn from successes and failures elsewhere.

Registration for the all-day conference is just $25 ($35 after June 6) and
includes lunch.
