During the August 15 meeting of the WEC Communications Task Force you 
offered to provide members of our group with copies of LTD's report on 
it's large West Eugene BRT community input event from 2000.  I 
understood from Tom Schwetz' email of August 23 that, at your request, 
he had taken responsibility for securing these.  Today, following up on 
Tom's email from Firday (below), I asked at LTD's front desk about 
obtaining a copy.  I was told that there were only a couple of black and 
white copies available for a maximum 3 hour check out,  but that I could 
purchase a copy of the report for $.05 per page.  I don't think this 
arrangement really makes the report available to task force members, so 
I'm asking if you would request that LTD staff prepare copies to be 
provided to members of  the Communications Task Force as you offered.  
If reproduction costs are an issue with LTD, perhaps the WEC Resources 
Task Force could  include a request for these funds as it seeks 
financial support for WEC activities.  Would you please let our task 
force know whether LTD will be able to provide copies of the report for 
us?  Thanks.

I'm interested in obtaining a copy of, and certainly making available to

other task force members, the report you offered to provide for the 
group at our last meeting.  This is the "Lane Transit District East-West

Pilot Corridor Study:  West Eugene General Alignment Community 
Involvement Summary, January, 2000,"  which summarizes much of the 
public involvement on this topic.  Would you make copies available at 
the LTD offices so that interested task force members could begin to 
examine them prior to our next meeting, and let us know they could be 
picked up?
