[WEC-Coord] WEC Coordinating Committee: Albeit very draft...

Dear Coordinating Committee,

Since we had agreed to June 6 fas the date to send documents prior to 
the Coordinating Committee meeting on the 10th, I'm sending four of 
six pieces from the Environmental Technical Committee that are in 
quite draft (but brief) form. These six topics (see below) are the 
categories into which we felt the Excel sheet "natural resources" 
comments fell. We suggest that "Environmental" is better than 
"natural resources" as the umbrella term.

  On Monday, Pat Johnston will be providing extra data and map-based 
specifics that she has for the four that are attached here, and  her 
wetlands piece; Kevin will be getting in the carbon footprint/climate 
change piece in as soon as he can.


Each draft piece has three sections: Definition, facts, and community 
design implications

1.      Carbon Footprint/Climate Change (Kevin)
2.      Creek Corridors primary and secondary waterways (Jan)
3.      Ecologically important habitats including upland prairie/oak 
savannah (Tim)
4.      Open Space Appreciation (Mary)
5.      Butterfly Threatened and endangered species) (Deborah)
6.      Wetlands (Pat)

Of course, anyone's comments/suggestions are welcome.
