All -

Indeed, I agree that this is a good idea. It has been a wild an woolly
couple of weeks from several standpoints and a solid regrouping effort
on the part of the Coordinating Committee might be good and fresh way to
start the year, and finishing our efforts together.

Consider this email my 'yes' vote.

And Happy New Year :)

Emily

Subject: [WEC-Coord] Recommended Cancelation of tomorrow's WEC Meeting
Importance: High

Dear Coordinating Committee,

I hope this email finds you all well and rested. Now that the holidays
have passed the WEC has found itself in a somewhat awkward position.
Unfortunately due to weather and the holidays there was not a draft of
the report for the Coordinating Committee to review and discuss prior to
tomorrow's full WEC meeting. Given that the Revision Committee has just
received the most current draft of the report and the proposed agenda
seems overly ambitious and has not been vetted by the Coordinating
Committee, it has been suggested that tomorrow's WEC meeting be
cancelled and instead the coordinating committee should meet instead
with the following needs:

*	Discuss the status of the report
*	Check in with key members from the subcommittees.
*	Get the coordinating committee on same page
*	Map out course of action
*	Discuss problems and potential issues that may come up.

Additionally, the Coordinating committee should provide the Revision
Committee a clear path to get a robust draft out well in advance of the
next meeting on January 29th. Jamie and I have discussed the need for a
clear path to the finish and that the WEC has artificial time frames and
that allows us to postpone the meeting until we have a more vetted
second draft with out wasting members' time. Additionally, we recommend
that the Coordinating Committee meet three times before the January 29th
meeting to continue to move toward consensus.

It is important that the cancellation of the meeting comes from the
Coordinating Committee so please respond ASAP to this email so we can
have a timely notice to the full WEC about the cancellation of
tomorrow's meeting.

Best wishes,

Tim
