Thanks for your input. I think I'm having the most problems with the ceilings. I've had some luck with theatre renderings because I can make the whole thing pretty dark except for some spotlights on the walls. Its so much easier, though, when you are just working with the sun alone.

I'll give your photoshop tecnique a try. I just recently discovered the joy of working with layer blending options and layer effects and combined with transparency, all I can say is "WOW". I've also tried working with with the film grain filter (faded at a percentage) in a copied layer over the original as a dodge or burn with some success. The solution might might be in here somewhere.

Oh well - all I know is that I have to get this art issue resolved so I can focus on fonts and pt sizes and get this project (brochure) off to the printer next week.
