Wow, that is one impressive model. The choice of colors and materials is really appropriate. BTW: from what I can tell in the image, the architecture of the building looks quite compelling and appealing.
When I do the backgrounds as Ken mentioned, I usually just drop one of the Artifice backgrounds into the image in Photoshop. This tends to be more challenging when your building does not cmpletely cover the horizon line as in this image here.
