Will, these are really great!

It is interesting how different the look is with backlighting, which doesn't generate specular highlights. Maybe lowering the specular reflectivity for the glass material will reduce that milkyness for front lighting, too. The tricky bit is that the different renderers seem to have a somewhat different scale for the specular reflectivity effect, so some experiments may be in order.
