Hello.
I would strongly encourage using DesignWorkshop in conjunction with a Macintosh - even in a PC environment.
I work at an architecture firm of 40+ people. It kills me when I see people trying to model stuff in the #1 drafting tool
on the market (names not mentioned). I love the number one drafting tool, but that is what I love using it for, drafting.
Its latest release (7 + 7) is what Blueprint for the Mac used to be 4-5 years ago when I was in school. What am I getting at?
I use the PC's at work for drafting up a plan of something I sketched by hand, then scanned in and used as an underlay. I then
take it into DW for the PC at work, or if it is a moonlighting job, I'll bring it home to my Power Mac and use the .DXF file
as an underlay for my models. You can check out my website at: http://home.cdsnet.net/~emory/ for more of my stuff. Please give me some feedback
on the website if you have the time. The site is very much "under construction", in fact this is the first time I've put it up
for anyone else to view.
