This rendering was done from 2D *.dwg files. I clean all dimensional, notes, etc. off the drawings and then import the drawings into Design Workshop Pro. As each drawing is an object, I can turn them on or off as required. Using the drawings as templates I develope the 3D model (about 8 hours and getting shorter all the time). I then rendered the model using Visionair Builder and finished with Picture Publisher 8 (another 8 to 10 hours, and getting shorter all the time).
