I use DW Pro and I really haven't had any challenges come across my plate yet that I felt couldn't be solved with DW Pro. I can imagine if I were working with strongly organic forms or tensile structures there might be some challenges. But I know that the folks at Artifice have some great online tools for working with thse kinds of forms.

I usually use the dxf as a total outline and extrude it. Later in the massing development, I may start carving the extrusion into parts. To wallify them, I might replace them with more precise blocks.
