Modeling, DesignWorkshop Professional.   Rendering, DesignWorkshop Professional.

This 3D terrain model was designed as a background and source of inspiration for a future product; the design of a marine research facility to replace the existing Sandy Hook structure. Incorporated into the model are three distinct hills, two of which are now defunct gun embankments. The area selected was intentionally unique: it includes a marsh land, an estuary, the two gun embankments, land access, and a ridge of flora before the beach. This allows for a neoteric design that will include the natural structures and the 'ancient ruins' that make up the run-down concrete gun towers.
