Eric,

I suggect you use Graphic Convertor to convert DesignWorkshop PICT files to .jpg files. Graphic Convertor is available from the various shareware download sites such as www.macdownload.com.

JPEG files are much better suited for renderings as they are not limited to 8 bit color.

Radiance is the rendering engine behind RenderCity.
