Modeling, DesignWorkshop Professional. Rendering, DesignWorkshop Professional.Sorry, I messed up the Upload.
The front of the tile-roofed building was modeled simply in DesignWorkshop from plan outlines created in PowerCADD. I set the view by trying to set the eye tool at the location of the photo by measuring from known existing points as related to the model . A temporary wall of the building in front with known height was also modeled to have a benchmark for locating in the photo. The view of the building came out foreshortened somehow but otherwise acceptable.
The image (DW rendering) was pasted into PowerCADD over the photo. No shading because of the north facing walls--not necessary. it was scaled and cropped to fit the location in the picture. Additional shadows and fill pattern textures, plants added in PowerCADD and details and colors adjusted in PowerCADD It was printed out of PowerCADD.
A little quick and dirty, but enough for our needs at this point of the project. It drew appreciative remarks from the Arch. review commitee in visualizing massing. It was to demonstrate the aspect of the building from the plaza, and not necessarily architectural details and colors.
