Thanks for the kind words. Yes in many ways it was painful. The roof especially was a learning experience.I dit 3 times 3 different ways(sort of). Keeping everything in line and alligned was another trick. Everything is all in one file and layered out which is another lesson in itself.
I have enjoyed the modeling experience as a whole and it has become my prefered way to "draw".
It did eventually get to the point of redesign directly in the model space itself and now I am generating 2 dimensional elevations from the model.
Yes it is true that there are NO interior lights in the model. The only illumination is by using the model sun. I cannot figure out why the interior is glowing except for the use of clear gass as a texture wich in my system renders this way. The only other thing is that there is enough daylight coming in thru the other windows in the rooms to make the poly-lines show up.
I imported the furniture and ceiling plans from PowerCADD and elevated them just above the floor slabs. This helps to give spatial relationship to an unmodeled design especially in walkthru's.
