Thanks Gary,

The pre-prep in MicroStation was really determining the most functional layout and comparing it with other layouts on the site. So really it was taking the programming information gathered and composing a floor plan. Misako actually just took the raw forms into DW via background pict and just traced them.

The more I think about the time, it was one week of 10 and 11 hour days with no other tasks like phone calls to distract.

We are quite pleased with the result. Since this was just an initial presentation of the design, we fully plan to continue developing the model with instancing trees and internal lights.

We also generated a 2-minute movie with transitions soundtracks and the like. I am planning to send a copy to Kevin for fun but I am having trouble getting a good movie at less that 2 GB.

As I recall, the funky light patterns in Radiance are caused by a lack of interior lights (since we have none).

Larry
