I think even a hard line elevation is better received. What I am speaking about is the model as you have it without rendering and textures. At least you have shading and colors. To architects I think the forms are fine to look at and unusual shapes can be realized. But prospective home owners don't look at a model the same way and without the additional rendering detail, see it as cardboard and can't appreciate the form.
Squiggle is good for this and the Inklination Fine Art renderer promises to help in presenting quick hidden-line perspectives.
Color alone added to models or elevations shouldn't be underrated. I was pleasantly surprised, having worked on a set of drawings, but not involved in color choices-- to see a project the other day under construction. The contrasts/interplay of the colors made a huge difference. Actually any color--realistic or not-- sets off a presentation.
