Bob,
The sky is a background photo from...somewhere? Actually, I think this one is one of the ImageCEL's backgrounds (they only provide a couple of usable ones on their Pro Designer CD). It was actually placed during the finishing stages using PP8 (PicturePublisher8 / similar to Photoshop). When I rendered the model in Artlantis, I created an 'alpa mask', so I cam simply slide the background into furthest back layer and position it. The foreframing tree is just a ImageCEL's tree that is already outfitted with an 'alpha mask'. I just 'imported' it then used the 'create shadow' command in PP8 to create the shadow. I use 'unsharp mask' quite a bit; typically to sharpen an object and/or image that I have scaled down. I haven't used it to 'make edges less crisp'. I've got sooooo much to learn. Like the army...'every job is an adventure'! Thanks for the feed back!
See ya,
Jeff
