I am a first year industrial design student at Montgomery High School.
We are designing 3-wheeled electric microcars. Note the motor attached to the steering mechanism. Similar to modern planes, most functions on this car are drive-by-wire. Thought not yet modeled, there will exist a complex network of wiring between the controls, a computer (the dark grey box closest to the observer in the rear), and the mechanisms. Some servos, (e.g. behind the steering wheel) have already been modeled.
