Walls on both sides of the outward space are too constricting - there's nothing to draw you out. What is OUTSIDE of the space? To paraphrase Lao-tzu's student Chuangtzu, "Limited by space, a frog in a well cannot understand what is an ocean; Limited by time, an insect in summer cannot understand what is ice."
Notwithstanding, technically the view is pretty cool.
