Thanks for the links. I found them very interesting. I would love to be able to put trees with that many polygons into the model, but I think that would make the file too hard to work with.

The largest file I can work with in DW is somewhere between 30 -37 MB without it crashing. That would probably be about 25 -30 very detailed trees in a file, which would then be exported as dxf (which would be around 100-150 MB) and then inserted into the model with the houses and site. I need at least 100 trees, and although I haven't reached a limit as to what artlantis can handle, I think I'm approaching it with the file as it is currently posted in the gallery.

I think I've hit a wall here as to what my computer and software can handle, and I'm going to have make some concessions about getting the look I want.

Anyway, thanks again for your input and the links.
