Morning! I occasionally browse the internet for anything interesting about innovative vehicles. I have a particular interest in three-wheeled cars and in electric vehicles, so it was interesting to see your posting about a car you are building. Great project! Have you finished it? Did it run well? If you have time I'd like to hear more about it.
I also have a personal interest in the Dymaxion connection - I knew Bucky Fuller (he was a friend of my father's) and think his car was wonderful. As you know, it had two wheels in front. I think this is a much superior design for a three-wheeled car and if you design another one I hope you go with two in front, perhaps with steering in the rear wheel. Maybe you could have three-wheel steering with the front wheels also turning at low speeds only. If you haven't seen it, check out the website where you can see the Mercedes F300 "Life-jet" vehicle. You'll like it - a three-wheeled "car" that leans into turns.
I've seen where at least one company now makes a fuel-cell powered bicyle so the technology for an extremely lightweight, electric, three-wheeled car seems to be almost entirely in place. I hope you go on with your work in this area.
