PowerCADD 2000's front end diagnosis should catch all valid objects that are tweeking infinity calculations except bogus "non objects". ie PowerCADD 2000 does Clean Up Drawinhg automatically on opening.
The "stop redraw" trick's usefulness has been mainly eliminated by solid, protective front end diagnosis.
The first pre-requisite is sufficient work space (ie RAM) to enable the drawing to load.
If you can't get it to load ( fill the "thermometer") you can't initiate any corrective process.
btw In the "stop redraw" trick instructions you ommitted a key step. ie IMMEDIATELY after the draw loads, drastically zoom in to the top left corner of the drawing where there is nothing ( no objects) to ensure that all operations you effect after that does NOT invoke any redraw.
There is a definitive procedure of tricks to get rid of bogus items. But until the drawing can load, they are redundant.
Without the requested information answered, we are just "blowing smoke". ie Nice information that may not germaine.
