When I visit this forum, I purposely scan the new postings looking for names yb, ob, huc, Greg and Peter as they provide the “gems” amongst the mix of "opinions" and "noise".
David Stovall's comment ... "Here we have a very little fish trying to rip off Artifice with self-promotion advertising without paying for it and not liking the consequences."... is an interesting comment given that it would appear that the postings of yb and ob contributed strongly to the substance of this forum. Also interesting is that I can not recall any posting from Mr. Stovall or the others expressing their "opinions" negatively about yb and ob that contributed to our office’s benefit in learning the ins and outs of PowerCADD or Macintosh.
It would appear that "the free ride" is the Bullpen people, those who have only opinions to post, and people like me who gleen but never post.
It would appear that it is the “Bullpen” who use this forum for "self-promotion advertising without paying for it" and who "vacuum" up the work of others from this forum to “create content” for their own webpage. I wonder if Mr. Stovall meant “bullfish”.
If yb and ob have been jaded by all these "opinions" here of late and "leave", I, for one, will miss their postings.
Thanks yb and ob for your efforts and contributions to this forum.
Our very busy office has found the caddpower booklets to be very helpful.
Hopefully caddpower will offer an “Ask the Guru” type of service so we can continue to benefit from their good work without all this nonsense.
