OK, Beth. You, as a relative newbie (and that is not an insult just a frame of reference), are going to knock Matt's efforts? You are way offbase...more so than you can ever imagine. Matt is trying to self-promote? Hah! I cannot believe he ddin't reach his hand through your modem and slap your hand!! Do you know Matt or his efforts or why he started BullPen? I think not, but I do, and most other seasoned veterans here do too. He has been excessively helpful to Engineered Software and Bill Stanley and if you don't believe me just ask.
I respect your value of caddpower and ob and yb and Huc (however they are all tied to caddpower) and these folks have contributed tremendously here, I thought without the need for reciprocation. I respect their immense value. They play an extremely valuable role.
But as Chuck and Jaques and even Peter have offered, I believe they have stepped over the line. And the strangest thing? No one knows who the hell they are (except for Huc).
This is NOT personal. It is about someone who really overstepped and overstated. Now it is time to all get back to business and hopefully everyone will continue to contribute here, peer-to-peer without strings, the way ot has always been.
