Autodesk appears to be spending a lot on adds blasting Adobe Acrobat PDF. (architectural record)

Pdf has given me the ability to stay on the mac platform and communicate with non-mac folks very easily. Clients, contractors, suppliers etc can have easy access to computer files with out having to learn or have a specific program. I have received only complements when providing people with documents in pdf format.

I have asked my Autocad consultants to provide pdf files for my use, no problem. I am also able to mix non-CAD documents into final pdf for publication.

I think Autodesk is doing the flow of information in construction a disservice by basting pdf.
