After you recover (using Huc's method), do this:

1. go to the Powercadd folder
2. make a new folder called 'Pref Backup'
3. Open 'Pref Backup'
4. Drag a copy of your new preferences into this backup folder (option drag from extensions).
5. drag an alias of the extensions folder (command-option-drag) into the prefs folder.

whew.

But now, whenever the prefs are corrupted, which can be frequently especially with your setup (I think PC2K crashes more under Classic, in my experience), you just go to the dock, control click on the PC2K icon, select Show In Finder, and from there you option drag the backup Prefs into the extensions folder alias.

This seems complex. It's not.
