3D DWG and DXF into SketchUp do support surfaces. I've brought Kohler 3D symbol files into SkUp with all the surfaces there just fine, as an example.

Now perhaps there would be a way to make PowerCADD produce semi-3D files by assigning a Z value to each layer in PowerCADD and having PC output a 3D DWG file with each layer placed in space according to it's Z value, and polygons/rectangles being 3D surfaces. (obviously all parallel planes)

I know, that's a whole new project in terms of coding. Would this be a popular enough feature to be worth the effort?
