Jai,

There are a million ways to do this. PCX has new and powerful features relating to bit maps but I admit I have not explored them very much, so I still use my tried and true techniques.

I tend to export polygons and linework to Photoshop for treatment [and the fact that PS is hugely efficient at moving screen images around]. Export stuff layer by layer, grouped according to how you are setting up your PS file, apply your filters, whatever.

Big images will neccesarily be at lower resolution. You can place your Photoshop file back into PC, though, and gain the benefit of higher res for text and lines [referencing PS files works and is very powerful, although control over the origin would be a welcome addition].

Hope this helps. Basically this kind of high-end rendering is a self-taught skill.
