Alfred, it would appear that you are not accessing the registration screen and only attempting to log in with a screen name that hasn't been registered. From that login screen a link to register should appear just below the "index" tab on the top of the page which will collect the necessary information and preferences and then email you a link to follow to confirm your account, after which your screen name and password should allow access without a hitch.
