I bought the Deskjet 9650, thinking I might be able to use PCD 6 in OS 9. Not so. PCD 6 crashes during printing, similar to the Epson 1520 problem. If OS9 is dead I wish ES would say so, so that those of us who are obsessed with avoiding the fuzzies in OSX can move on. I was even considerindg buying a Dual G4 so I can boot in OS9 (for other reasons).

Aside from the fact that I hate the fuzzies in OSX PCD 6 actually runs better in it. I've added RAM to my G4 350 (filled all slots) and noticed some improvement overall. I also bought a Radeon 7000 PCI (that's right), not the AGP it's made for, to give OSX a boost. And installed the Quartz Extreme enabling hack from Dangerous Wares, that works. I hate to give up this faithful machine so I decided to spend a modest amount to see what might help. PowerCADD 6 is working to my satisfaction :-)

It's taken a lot of learning to catch up with OSX and PCD 6. My advice to anyone is "don't fall behind, you'll pay for it later".

Glad to see the 6.1 update!!!
