I reported this some time ago, it occurs in both OS9 and OSX. I updated to OSX 10.3.3 and it's still the same. This problem has existed in all versions since 6.0.4.
Text rotated left shows horizontal lines at the ends of the text block. It may not appear at first, but will if moved or zoomed. When dragged they come and go. text rotated right has no problem at all. Left rotated text also tends to ghost out at the ends, almost like redraw not kicking in. The problem occurs with all text objects, blocks, leaders, dimensions etc. With dimensions they appear outside the witness lines (the group).
