If anyone is interested, I got lost trying to register. So Matt Arnold did me a 'favor' and registered for me. I never got a confirming email.

So Mike Wheeler at Artifice deleted the identity and then I registered again. Still I was not able to use the forum. I checked my junk mail and didn't see anything.

Mike suggested that the confirming email might have been deleted by an over-aggressive junk mail filter, so I looked again and I finally found an email called

"Welcome to DesignCommunity Forum".

With Apple's Mail program, you can view the titles by ascending or descending order, so if you know what you are looking for, it is easy to find. I get a couple hundred junk emails a day.

So... if you didn't get a confirming email, check your junk mail.

So now I'm actually able to post a note. If I can think of anything to say.
